Compass is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2024 Brighter Minds Mental Health Bursary. This bursary, made possible through generous donations to Compass’ Charity Fund, is specifically designed to support youth with lived mental health experience who are enrolled in local post-secondary institutions. The bursary aims to reduce financial barriers and help recipients reach their full potential.
This year, Compass will award $2,500 each to two deserving local youth who meet the following criteria:
- Will be a full-time student in good standing enrolled in a public college or university within the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin for the 2024/25 academic year
- Be under the age of 25
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have lived mental health experience
- Commit to growing mental health awareness during the bursary term
